Nessy to the rescue! 

I get about 4 or 5 phone calls a year from couples a week before their weddings, who have been let down by their photographer. It is usually a friend or a family member, who has agreed to shoot their wedding for them, then pulled out at the last minute. The reasons are varied, but matter little, the fact is, the couples get left with no photography.

Need Bridesmaid Dress Advice? 

When I got married I have 4 bridesmaids all with different bodyshapes and of all different skin tones… its really hard to find a style that you like, but that suits your bridesmaids… let alone picking a good colour too! 

Some tips :

1) Remember your bridesmaids do not have to wear the wedding theme colour or colours. Don’t get me wrong, match the colour by all means, but it does not have to be the same… there are so many neutrals, tertiaries, pastals and even black that might suit the day without being the same colour.

2) If the girls have similar colouring but different body shapes, consider the same colour in different styles of dress. If they have similar body shapes by different skin tones, consider the same dress style in different colours

3) Don’t worry about weather the girls will wear the dress again, its impossible to predict the future, and even if they love the dress, they may never wear it again

4) Consider asking some professional advice - dressmakers may be able to help you, but when it comes to style advice, there are some great people out there who specialise in exactly this kind of thing!
